Our story
Whilst working together in some of Manhattan's best restaurants, Flinders Lane was founded in NYC in 2014 over a few shift drinks between founders Chris & Chris reminiscing about their hometown.
Inspired by the gritty, urban laneway culture of Melbourne, Australia, the guys wanted to bring a slice of the Australian hospitality culture to the US of A. Vibrant street art, tiny cafes and hidden bars the laneways of Melbourne offer a treasure trove of local bars and cutting edge restaurants.
Fast forward 5 crazy years, Aussie Chef & partner Brad Stewart has joined the team, Flinders Lane Kitchen & Bar opened in downtown Stamford in 2017 serving locals a slice of Australian culture in Connecticut

Similar to NEW AMERICAN cuisine, Modern Australian cuisine celebrates the multicultural heritage of Modern day Australia.
